Main Pool

The main pool is the original pool at the Wedgewood Swim Club. It is an “L” shaped pool and measures 75′ x 36′ with a diving area of 30′ x 25′. The depth goes from 3′ to 10′. The pool holds 133,000 gallons of water.

Lower Pool

Baby Pool

The Lower Pool, also known as the Lap Pool, is the newest pool at Wedgewood Swim Club. It is a standard 25 meters lap pool with six lanes. The pool measures 82′ (25 meters) x 44′. The depth goes from 4′ to 5′. The pool holds 124,000 gallons or water.

The Baby Pool is 38′ x 30′ with water depths ranging from 9 inches to 1 foot 8 inches. It is conveniently located next to the pavilion and picnic area to provide easy visibility.

Bathroom and Shower Facilities

Rebuilt in 1998, the bathrooms and shower facilities include a family / handicapped bathroom and shower.

Picnic Area and Pavilion

A covered pavilion, deck and large picnic area with picnic tables and charcoal grills are located near the pools.

Rules

Facility Rules:

  1. 1. Repeat family offenders of Club rules will receive a warning. Suspension of membership privileges will follow if the situation is not remedied.

  2.  

  3. 2. All members and their guests must check-in at the entrance of the Club before entering. Members in good standing must have a pictured membership in our computer database in order to enter the pool. Members without a picture will have their picture taken by the Front Gate Guard. Children under 12 will not be admitted to the Club without a parent or responsible guardian (must be 16 years of age).

  5. 3. Entry to the Club must always be through the breezeway. No one is permitted to enter through the gate from the picnic grove without first passing through the breezeway to check-in.

  7. 4. No food, gum, beverages or containers of any kind are allowed in the pool areas, except during official Club social activities. One exception is plastic water bottles are allowed around pool areas. All containers must be left in the picnic grove. No glass of any kind is permitted at the pool facility. Members are responsible for picking up all trash and litter caused by them and depositing it in the trashcans or dumpster.

  9. 5. The concrete decking immediately adjacent to the pools and all walkways must be kept clear of chairs, towels and any other obstructions.

  11. 6. Parking is only allowed in designated parking areas and in a pattern established by the Club Manager. Do not block in other vehicles. Parking in front of the Club is only allowed on Sundays.

  12.  

  13. 7. Loitering in the bathhouses and especially in the breezeway is strictly prohibited. Children SHALL not play in the bathrooms. If a problem arises please contact a lifeguard or Club Manager on duty. Also, please help keep the bathrooms clean.

  15. 8. The telephone is for emergencies and to arrange for rides or food delivery only. It is not to be used as a personal message center or for making nonessential personal calls.

  16.  

  17. 9. No Smoking permitted by members/guests 17 years of age or younger.

  18.  

  19. 10. Spitting and foul language are not permitted on pool grounds.

Pavilion TV Rules

1. The TV in the pavilion is to be operated by Club management only. All members shall abide by the following TV Rules.  The key and remotes are in the custody of the on-duty Club manager.

 

2. The tv will be programmed for sports channels unless the Board approves additional channel(s).

 

3. The Verizon remote is the only remote needed to operate the system.

 

4. At the closing of the pool, the tv needs to be turned off and the cabinet locked.
